Returns & Exchanges

Exchange requests or returns on FULL-PRICED merchandise are accepted by mail or in any BIG DROP store.
 
NO REFUNDS!
RETURNS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITHIN FOURTEEN (14) DAYS OF PURCHASE DATE FOR STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE. STORE CREDITS ARE VALID FOR 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE.  ALL CLAIMS (STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGES) MUST BE PRESENTED WITH THE RECIEPT, TAG STILL ON NOR WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED. MERCHANDISE OR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN ANY OTHER CONDITION.
 
All SALE, accessories, shoes, intimates and gift card purchases are FINAL SALE. Returns or exchange requests on this merchandise will not be accepted.
 
Instructions For Exchange or Return of Full-Price Merchandise:
 
EXCHANGES

By Mail - FREE
If you're making an exchange, we make it easy. Fill out the exchange portion of your RETURN FORM and mail your package to us. Once received, we will process your exchange and ship the new merchandise back to the original shipping address processed with your order. Any remaining balance will be issued in the form of a store credit.

UPS Groung Return Label - $10.00 Fee
Return/Exchange your item(s) by requesting a pre-paid RETURN LABEL. We will deduct a flat fee of $10.00 from your order refund for return postage. No worries, insurance is taken care of when using the provided label. Unfortunately, we cannot refund your original shipping charges. If you do not use the pre-paid label, the $10.00 fee will not be deducted from your return.

In Store - FREE
Simply bring the receipt and credit card used when you placed the order to a sales associate at any one of our stores. The sales associate will provide you with a written receipt of your exchanged item.  Any remaining credit will be issued as a store credit.
 

RETURNS

Shipping & Handling

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders received on week days after 12pm EST, or on weekend days or on holidays will begin processing the next business day. Shipping times may vary due to availability of merchandise.

Big Drop offers four types of shipping options for delivery within the United States. At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO addresses or US territories.  All packages are shipped via UPS and we offer the following shipping options:
  • Ground
  • 3 Day Select
  • 2nd Day Air
  • Next Day Air

Tracking Your Order
To track your shipment via UPS,  refer to your order confirmation email for the UPS tracking number; then simply enter your tracking number on the UPS website at www.ups.com to track your order shipment.

 
 

Sales Tax

Items shipped within New York and Florida will be charged sales tax.  

Our Privacy Statement

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. But, of course, you have the freedom to add or remove your name from our list at any time.

Online Security

Your credit card is completely safe.

Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to insure your safety.

*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.

To check the security of your connection during checkout, look for the unbroken key or closed lock at the bottom of your browser window. This indicates SSL is active.

Shopping Online

To add an item to your bag, simply click the add to bag button next to it. (Items you put in your bag will not be bought by you until you have completed the checkout process.)

To remove an item from your bag, simply click the remove link next to the item you wish to discard.

To view what is in your bag at any time, click the "shoppingBag" link in the page header.

To purchase what you've selected, click on your shoppingBag and click "checkout". Follow the three simple steps to purchase your items.

Once we have confirmed your order, an account for you is automatically established for the Modern Retail community of stores.

To access your account in the future, click the "myAccount" button in the header of any page and enter the e-mail address and password you created at checkout.  (If you have not been through checkout, but would like to create an account, simply click on my account and follow the steps to create a new account.)
