Synonymous with chic avant-garde women's fashion and accessories, Big Drop opened its first boutique at 174 Spring Street in SoHo in 1990. Big Drop offered a smart selection of cutting edge brands merchandised in a way never seen before, with the best in everything from Denim to bags to chic dresses. Big Drop quickly emerged as a "must stop" destination for women seeking the latest trends, but always focused on timeless style. As a result of Big Drop's success, the rapidly expanding brand subsequently opened two more stores in New York City: Third Avenue between 75th and 76th Street in 1999, West Broadway between Prince and Spring in 2002 and in Gansevoort South Hotel on Miami Beach in 2008.

Big Drop closed its West Broadway location in 2009 and focused on remaining stores with an assortment that is edgy, young, fresh and unique. Remaining three stores in SoHo and Uptown in New York City and Collins Ave in Miami flourished even in the toughest year for retailers.

Big Drop offers its selective clientele a unique assortment of clothing made by contemporary designers from both the US and abroad. All merchandise is hand selected to preserve Big Drop's fashion forward attitude. Big Drop's three locations are the premier retailers for sought after brands such as J. Brand, Rebecca Taylor, Madison Marcus, L.A.M.B., LaROK, Robert Rodriguez, Current Elliott and many more.
